Smoke first. Fires grow and spread downwind. A fire that reaches the tower base will burn it down — drop water early.
Arsonists carry torches and fuel cans. They light the brush, then work toward the tower.
Riflemen appear mid-morning and shoot at the cab. Watch for muzzle flashes and duck below the sill.
Drones show up by midday. They dive at the cab — shoot them before they arrive. The carbine is the easier tool up close; the rifle lands instantly, so aim just ahead of a crossing drone.
Difficulty (title screen or Settings, changeable mid-shift) sets drone speed and size, how many hostiles come at once, how well riflemen shoot and how much damage you take. Easy is the default.
Use the catwalk. Open the north door to step onto the balcony — the only way to shoot straight down at the tower base. There's no cover out there.
Thermal radar picks up people, drones and animals within 400 m. Red is hostile, green is wildlife — shooting deer costs you.
The rifle shoots flat. A .308 round lands almost the instant you fire, with no drop worth holding for at any range on the ridge — put the crosshair on the target. Side ticks are milliradians: a man running at 800 m needs about one tick of lead.
